Little King's Story is a real-time strategy (RTS) life simulation game with roleplaying elements developed by Cing and Town Factory and published by XSEED (in North America) for the Wii in 2009. The game was then ported to the PC in 2016. You play as the king who gives orders to his citizens to carry out specific tasks. The citizens start out as carefree adults only good for digging holes and can be upgraded to different classes such as farmers and soldiers, which allows them to perform different tasks. The king can have any citizen follow him around, and he can order them to do a certain job, such as digging, breaking down a barrier, or fighting. He can only order one citizen at a time. He can send multiple citizens to work on the same job so that it will take less time. Once the king acquires enough gold, he can start building facilities and growing his kingdom. By building facilities, the king can send citizens inside to be trained in a specific type of work, such as farming. There are also side quests available via the town square's suggestion box. The king can choose which missions he wants to undertake in order to get more money and keep his people happy. The goal is to build up a stable kingdom and conquer the seven neighboring kingdoms.
