Blog post: https://asimplyfab.life/journal/lrch-ladies-day-2012/ - This Ladies Day with the Land Rover Club Holland saw 180 ladies drove their Landy beasts along a 70 km route using the LRCH roadbook (in Dutch this is termed: bolletjes/pijltjes") and enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Gasterij Kruisberg afterwards. The Land Rover Club Holland is one of the biggest in Europe and rightfully has an excellent reputation for organising themed weekends and club days. For example the mid-winter campout or the Tough Weekend (Bikkel Weekend) as well as offroad days and roadbooks. Today the theme was ladies day with a roadbook (always fun) in the region of Haarlem and Zandvoort in Northern Holland. The roadbook meant there was to be a designated navigator (well done Jessica) and it's a great way to discover the region including the ruins of Brederode. And there is nothing better than the clatter of an old Land Rover Defender diesel, is there?
