The South African National Editors' Forum, SANEF, met with Finance Minister Tito Mboweni following what has been viewed as war tweets against the media. Sanef reiterated its concerns around increased physical threats to journalists and the critical importance of government leaders protecting and strengthening constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms.
