Vietnam was one of those places I had wanted to visit for so long. Me and my friend Chris can remember the Vietnam war on TV. Then, later, the famous Vietnam war epics (Apocalypse Now, Deer Hunter) came along and it felt that Vietnam was a place no tourist could ever visit. Yet, years later, we were travelling from the Mekong to Saigon and beyond. The Vietnam Cu Chi tunnels was a highlight of our trip. 40 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) the tour had much more to offer and made for an exciting day. This was filmed three years ago and is a bit rough around the edges, but I hope I have captured the thrill of one of Saigon's most well known tours. Vietnam is a marvelous destination for travel. From the Mekong Delta to Saigon to Hoi Ann and Hanoi, the country is full of great travel highlights. Highly recommended. Let us never forget the tragedy of the Vietnam war, and the many Vietnamese and Americans who lost their lives.
