INTERVIEW STARTS AT 20:00. Perhaps the most ancient and renowned dying/rising godman was Osiris. His reverence lasted thousands of years longer than Christianity and most other major religions. The very evolution of Osiris from a primitive fertility deity to a transcendental Logos mirrored the spiritual and cultural growth of ancient Egypt and the very genesis of the modern psyche. His various myths not only crystallized the arcane mysteries of a civilization that would influence the West in so many facets, Osiris became a timeless template for humanity's quest for divine realization and self-renewal. By delving into the very essence of the teachings of Osiris, as well as ancient Egyptian history and theology, an individual can uncover powerful spiritual, alchemical and even psychological gifts. We die and rise alongside Osiris in order to gain these soul and mind liberating gifts, as well as understand the deep mystical thought of a civilization that was far more sophisticated than ever imagined. Astral Guest-- Thom F. Cavalli, author of Embodying Osiris and Alchemical Psychology .
