Overnight raid on Gauteng's West Rand

Police have arrested more than twenty suspects for various crimes, during an overnight operation in Kagiso and Randfontein West of Johannesburg. This was part of operation 'Buya Mthetho' which is aimed at eradicating and combating crime in Gauteng. Suspects were arrested for various crimes ranging from dealing in drugs to possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
