I've got about 7 gallons of biodiesel in this 30 gallon barrel. And about 5 gallons of water I poured through that biodiesel. I now have a small aquarium bubbler running blowing bubbles in the water to "wash" the biodiesel. The bubbles help agitate the water/oil against each other so that the water can pull the soap/lye/methanol out of the oil. You really don't want any of that stuff going through your fuel system in your car.
