My goal tonight was to test out if I could successfully deploy my MFJ Fiberglas Mast and attach my J-Pole Roll-Up Antenna in order to make ham radio contact to the local Traffic Net (SEFTN) here in Ft Lauderdale, FL. I had a few issues at first because I think I was too close to some power lines, but once I moved to another location I was able to get my signal out to the Net Control Station. This set-up is easy to deploy and is always ready in just a few minutes time.
