Me & My Piano (Vol. 2) is a collection of all Aaron's mature songs, those mainly written for solo piano and voice. 2007-2011 This is song 18 from the album. Thanks to Chris De Burgh for being a great inspiration to me on this song especially. It features a rare piano solo. I don't like playing them (I like to just use the piano as an accompaniment instrument, rather than as a melodic voice), but this needed the solo! Aaron's main influences are Classical and Romantic composers such as Chopin and Bach, plus the modern influences of Elton John, Chris De Burgh, Supertramp, ABBA abd Alan Parsons. The result is a modern synthesis torn somewhere between country, folk and gospel music with a tight classical structure, and deep counterpoint.
