Over 3.5 million bank account holders have moved 2.5 billion shillings using inter-bank money transfer service Pesa Link, within the service's 4-month pilot phase. To further recruit more users, banks will not charge a service fee for the transfer of cash through this platform for two months. These details were revealed at the official launch of Pesa Link, an interbank digital transfer platform where bank account holders can move from 10 shillings to 999,999 shillings from one account to another.
