PCC Southeast Campus’ signature event, cultureSEast, invited attendees to engage the diverse cultures, identities, and stories that comprise Southeast Portland – beyond what people might see on the surface. As part of the celebration, students, faculty, staff, and members of the community were asked to retell stories from their life experiences. By exploring cherished memories, difficult times, and dreams for the future, storytellers shared a piece of themselves and let viewers see past the barriers of outward appearances.
