http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Finally, finally...at the Hotel Prince Residency in Bhuj. God only knows how many hours it was after leaving Chicago and settled in to this hotel, considered the best available in Bhuj. Why visit Bhuj in the State of Gujarat? For the extremely rich tribal culture surrounding this small city also known for its textiles. Bhuj itself was decimated in 2001 by an earthquake that measured 8.9 on the Richter scale. About the same magnitude that recently created havoc in Japan. A good night's sleep and ex-Marine (husband, Steve) and I will be eager to begin exploring Gujarat.
