Here's my cover of "Strange Brew" by Cream. Did this a few months ago, and never got around to posting it. A little info about this song:
Guitars - The lead is a Stratocaster and the riffs are note-for-note Clapton, which I learned. There are some crazy out-of-the-box bends and fun blues riffs. The rhythm guitar I played on my Gretsch. Both have fuzz tone.
Bass - Used my Rogue Violin bass. It would've been too hard to learn Jack Bruce's bassline exactly, so I tried to improvise and play in his style. You can hear a lot of those bass riffs under the solo, and a bit of distortion and mids boost in the tone.
Drums - Sampled and programmed by me from a vintage live kit. I programmed the beats and every part of the track bar by bar, and it was quite challenging to replicate Ginger Baker's drum track.
Vocals - Kind of a weird (but fun as hell) vocal to sing, with a lot of sweeps between chest voice and falsetto. There's occasional double tracking in there as well.

Hope you enjoy!
