IG Boinnet assures country of security during festive season

Inspector-General of Police, Joseph Boinnet, has assured Kenyans that there will be adequate security during the festivities. Boinnet, who was speaking to journalists in Nairobi, also warned owners of public service vehicles against hiking fares above the recommended rates. He was in the company of the National Transport and Safety Authority director, Francis Meja who said that the authority, alongside the police, will intensify crackdowns on rogue drivers.
