Another ebay find, listed as spares/repairs due to a burning smell which turned out to be just a blown suppressor. One of my all time favourite Hoover cylinders and still a quiet and efficient cleaner today if a bit heavy and cumbersome. This one still retains it's original double stretch hose which I demonstrate on my stairs. This one is the most basic Sensotronic in the range with no variable power, plastic rods and a 900w motor (other models were 1000w) but suction is still very good and the huge bag means it keeps on sucking well for longer. A rival to the big Miele's, Electrolux 358 and 380 and other full sized cylinders of the time. This one will be a permanent member in my collection.
