As Fracking continues to be an issue in the Marcellus Shale region there has been an evolution in the media coverage as well. Originally the economic incentives were hyped while environmental issues were marginalized. The entire story needs to be told so that this issue can be addressed responsibly. The entire story includes the trials and tribulations of those that are faced with these difficult decisions to sell their mineral rights. The money could change their lives, but at what costs? These stories, whether positive or negative, need to be front and center to better go about this issue responsibly in PA.
