Police are looking for six men who robbed a goldsmith shop at a shopping mall in Seremban yesterday. The authorities believe the suspects were also involved in jewellery store robberies in Cheras and Bangi over the past four days. Seremban OCPD ACP Thiew Hock Poh said they are trying to ascertain the links between the three robberies. Last night, six gunmen, all wearing full faced helmets stormed into a goldsmith shop at Palm Mall shopping mall around 8pm, and carted away six trays of jewellery, all within three minutes. One of the suspects left a shotgun not far from the premises before fleeing the scene. It was reported that the shotgun was stolen from a security guard during the Cheras robbery on New Year’s eve. In the incident, ten men armed with gun and hammers, need three minutes to rob a goldsmith shop of jewelleries worth 1.5 million ringgit at a shopping mall in Taman Segar, Cheras, And hours before the Seremban robbery, a trio of robbers wearing motorcycle helmet visors had carted away 370 thousand ringgit worth of jewelleries in less than three minutes from a goldsmith in CS Supermarket, Persiaran Bangi Avenue.
