The 2009 Franklin County Relay for Life was held June 12-13 at the Washington Fairgrounds in Washington, Mo. Danica Garbs was named the 2009 Hero of Hope. The overnight event included a survivors laps, luminaria ceremony, food, games, prizes and other activities for all ages. All proceeds raised from the event will go to the American Cancer Society.
