14 Crystal Cells Dielectric grease update

In this video I talk a bit about the progress of the cells I made using dielectric grease. I was supposed to take them apart 3 days ago but life can get busy at times & I haven't seen a reason to rush.

I believe the black splotches in the crystal is oxygen deprived oxidation of some sort. The video linked below by ibpointless2 described white and black oxidation of Mg that might explain this.
