CCU celebrates 90 years with community service

EAST PRICE HILL, Ohio (Adam Clements) -- Community service is a big part of Cincinnati Christian University. Thursday, it's priority number one as the school celebrates its 90 year anniversary. Community service is the spirit of CCU and it's putting that into action in the East Price Hill community. 300 members of the student body, along with faculty and administrators, are cleaning up the neighborhood. They'll clean up the area and help the elderly who may need help sprucing up the front of the their homes. They want to make the neighborhood and the world a better place. That's what the school is about and has been about for nine decades. "We are trying to reach out to people, that we're just not stuck up on the hill stuck to ourselves, that we want to impact price hill and the community for christ and all the things that we stand for," says Bill Baumgardner of CCU.
