Tropical Storm Isaac continues on its westward trek across the Caribbean, and is still expected to curve northward into Haiti and Cuba, before eventually entering the Gulf of Mexico. The storm may intensify into a hurricane shortly before reaching Haiti, potentially causing disruption to the nation still recovering from the devastating earthquake of January 2010. Interests in Cuba should also watch out for the storm, in case it moves to the west of Haiti and into Cuba as a stronger system. Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana should be monitoring this storm and be prepared for a hurricane, should it hit any of those areas at that intensity.
