Subscribe & check out my other videos! www.youtube.com/cookingandcrafting I got this from one of the books that Anita from St. Louis sent me. Thanks again, Anita!! It is a Betty Crocker Holiday Appetizers book dated approximately 1999. This book doesn't have any indication as to when it was printed, however, some of the things offered in it 'expire' in December 1999. The front cover also says, "New! Check out the Betty Crocker web site: www.bettycrocker.com' and interestingly this recipe is not located on it. When I Google the recipe's title, it takes me to a much different recipe on other people's blogs, or the exact recipe as a preview to Betty's Christmas Recipe Book. Anyway, here it is: 2 cups chilled orange juice 2 cups chilled cranberry juice cocktail 1 bottle (1 liter) dry champagne or sparkling wine, chilled Mix orange juice and cranberry juice cocktail in 1-1/2 quarter pitcher. Pour champagne into glasses until half full. Fill glasses with juice mixture. 12 servings, 2/3 cup each Success tip: For the best flavor and punch, serve mimosas icy cold. You can even use frosty glasses. To prepare, place glasses on a tray; freeze 1 hour or more until serving time. I tried this twice. The first time I followed the directions and I got loopy drunk off three sips. I am not a drinker, so even the smallest amounts make me feel drunk lol I also said, "I guess I just am not a person who likes champagne." Later, I had Scott and his friends try it and they liked it, so I tried it again. This was after the champagne had been uncorked for a bit (HA!) It did taste a lot better to me, however, I also put a little more juice in it as well.
