Nicole Richie's adding another notch to her belt in the fashion world—this time designing a line for Macy's! 

Going by the name of Nicole Richie for Impulse, the Fashion Star's line will be available in mid-September in over 100 Macy's across the country and online at Macy's.com. 

Richie is already a veteran in the fashion designing spectrum with her line for QVC, Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960—so designing a capsule collection for Macy's should be no problem! 

Her line will consist of anywhere from 24-30 styles and will be sold for 6 weeks if the collection lasts—Macy's doesn't think that it will stay on the shelves for more than 2 weeks. 

Richie says her inspiration for designing always starts with music—and this collection is no different. Richie gives us some deets on the line saying it's a great mix of masculine and feminine. 

And, in true designer fashion, Richie focused on the details—anything from the zipper pulls to the buttons to give Macy's the best collection possible. 

We can expect to see lots of prints from Nicole's line—and of course some Faux leather. Macy's chief marketing officer says that this collection will undoubtedly reflect the stars, bohemian chic style and we love that! 

On top of that, we're going to see Richie's signature peacock print and bright jewel colors be a big part of the collection for Macy's. 

Richie says her Macy's collection, quote, "Represents the many different layers of a modern woman. Women are wearing so many different hats these days. Not just working, but creating!"
