Afghans will go to the poll on Saturday to elect a new president to succeed Hamid Karzai. The new leader will have a challenging job ahead, with the withdrawal of foreign troops later this year. One of the frontrunners is Abdullah Abdullah. Al Jazeera's Bernard Smith reports from Herat in western Afghanistan.
