For snare drum and electronics, commissioned by percussionist Sergio Izquierdo, and performed in China the last august 9th, 2015 in Tianjin Percussion Festival. Probably the shadow theater dates back to the prehistoric man, when he recreated hand figures in front of fire. In China, Turkey and Cambodia soon acquired artistic and dramatic beyond pure visual entertainment levels. In India and Indonesian culture, shadow puppeteer, called Dalang, acquired the status of priest who could come into contact with the upper world. The shadow takes us to a shapeless world, not created, in which reflects our passions, our fears, our internal divisions. "The shadow does not exist; what you call light shade is you do not see "(Henri Barbusse).
