new website: https://legitracecraft.com/ Coolant pressure sensors are very useful in monitoring whether or not a coolant leak develops. The pressure would start to drop if a leak develops. If this is detected early then you can save the trouble of overheating your car. Coolant temperature sensors would still be useful and are good to have near the coolant pressure sensor. The barometric pressure is sensed by the MAP sensor briefly when the key is turned just before the car is started. So if you were to start driving the car at a low altitude and then you drove up 1000s of feet then there would be a noticeable difference in performance, unless the car is turned off and on at that higher altitude. There can also be a second pressure sensor installed to detect baro pressure.
