Training Footage from 2009 Reverse Bands are a great way to feel a heavy load and gain confidence to achieve certain numbers. The difference between reverse band and bands is that as the tension increases the band actually is raising the weight up rather than pulling it down. At the very top of the movement the lifter can feel the actual straight weight load, which helps with confidence and lockout power. I find they also help me find my "groove"(proper bar path) and translates very well when going back to straight bar variations. I am blessed that I am surrounded by great training partners and lifters at my gym and I would like to thank them for all of their help with my training.
