Learning the Centurion - Basic skill footage

Being one of my favorite mechs from lore I really put off playing the Centurion. It just doesn't look "right". In my mind, and partly due to the artistry at the time, I figured the Cent would be slimmer and more of a gunslinger. In MWO it has a really broad torso with what feel like frazzled actuators in the right arm. You just can't move away from someone and make snap shots like you can in a Hunchback. Silly, since torso mounted weapons are supposed to be the least forgiving in aiming. Anyhoo, I mustered my nerve and am giving it what-for. It's really a slow brawler for its weight class, and it doesn't have the armor or damage to go blow for blow against its heavier competitors. What it does have is excellently placed hardpoints that, when damage mitigation works as planned, let you shed damage options before you bite the dust. Altogether a pretty mean mech, but one that is easily lacking any kind of role or purpose in competitive play. Song: Devil In Me (Feat. Steed Lord) - Legend (Fearless album)
