Me & My Piano (Vol. 2) is a collection of all Aaron's mature songs, those mainly written for solo piano and voice. 2007-2011 This is song 17 from the album. George was one of the best friends I ever had. He drove a long way to my town to visit me one day and I went to work instead, because I was worried I'd be too late if we met up. I never saw him again. It's one of my deepest regrets that I did not see him that last time. But as I've said before, we never know when it's the last time. Think about that next time you say goodbye to someone. Aaron's main influences are Classical and Romantic composers such as Chopin and Bach, plus the modern influences of Elton John, Chris De Burgh, Supertramp, ABBA abd Alan Parsons. The result is a modern synthesis torn somewhere between country, folk and gospel music with a tight classical structure, and deep counterpoint.
