Hiring a professional photographer is only half the battle to getting good pictures and many musicians turn up to photo shoots wearing scruffy clothes and hair that looks like pubes! Once you have booked a photoshoot, make sure you get a hair cut before the day and sort out clothes which are either new or at least ironed and not from the bottom of your gig bag! Think about location as we have discussed before and decide what image you are going for i.e happy, smiley, moody, fun, scary etc. Don't forget a photographer is not a magician and can't take a band of students and make them look like rock stars without help form the band!
