Musicians all say they want a career but how many actually want it... More importantly how many bands and artists are prepared to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in to the main goal every day. how many guitarists, bass players and drummers wanting a career as a musician fall at the first hurdle because they can't problem solve. After 20 years it still baffles me how many musicians give up so quickly with tiny problems to over come but it inspires me to know that the people who can navigate their way through these problems and work hard deserve a long term music career. The saying 'The cream rises to the top' isn't strictly true but the cream who are prepared to let nothing stand in their way usually do! Talent is helpful, hard work is essential!
