Romeo is feeling restless because he can hear his friend, Marvin, outside working on a car. If Marvin had gone away he would have been perfectly happy waiting for him to come back, now that he has accepted me as a part-time member of the herd, but because he can hear the dominant capybara in the herd, but he is separated from him and cannot get to him, this causes him a great deal of anxiety. He has been pacing around the living room in the area in front of the front door. He did nestle down for a nap with Tuff'n and me, but when a neighbour honked his car horn Romeo woke up. At times I thought he was looking to Tuff'n for reassurance by rubbing his nose against Tuff'n's nose. Tuff'n doesn't suffer from separation anxiety when Marvin goes; he is happy as long as Romeo is nearby. He follows Romeo everywhere.
