This battle was incredibly annoying. I wanted to defeat the upper part before he uses the Doom attack, but I just couldn't deal enough damage. In other words, I had no choice but to deal with it, but Marle had just too little HP to survive it with the best protective equipment. So, I either had to use Lucca or level up Marle, but I decided on the latter to keep the levels as low as possible.

Crono: Level 1
Marle: Level 5

Note: I only leveled up Marle for this battle. After beating him, I loaded a file where she's still level 4 and continued. Remember, it's my challenge and I make up the rules, so no smartass comments on this, please.
