This video tutorial provides instructions on how to uninstall programs on windows 8. There are two methods you can use to uninstall a program on windows 8. Method 1: how to uninstall apps on windows 8 Click on the start icon to take you to the start screen if you are not already there. Locate the application/program you want to uninstall. If its not on the start screen, click on the arrow in the lower left side of the screen to view all apps and programs. Locate the program and right click on it. A check mark will appear on the right corner of the program tile you want. Click on 'Uninstall' on the toolbar that appears at the bottom of the screen. On the programs and features window that appears, make sure the correct app is selected and click on uninstall. Method 2: Right click on the start button to open the start context menu. Select programs and features from this menu. It should take you back to the Programs and features window where you can uninstall.
