Cost of diesel and kerosene rise in the latest ERC review

Consumers will be compelled to dig deeper into their pockets following today’s review of prices for petroleum products. A statement from the Energy Regulatory Commission shows that the maximum price for a litre of Super, Diesel and Kerosene have all been reviewed upwards by 2 shillings and 38 cents; 3 shillings and 11 cents; and 2 shillings and 99 cents, respectively. In Nairobi County a litre of petrol sell at a maximum price of 118 shillings and 11 cents while that of Diesel and Kerosene will retail at a maximum of 112 shillings and 83 cents and 111 shillings and 83 cents, respectively.
