Dealers selling motorcycles without helmets will have their licenses canceled in a move aimed at ensuring road safety during the festive season. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) while issuing the warning to motorcycle dealers also said the protective gear has to comply with safety standards established by the Kenya Bureau of Standards. Each motorcycle sold should be accompanied by two helmets, which should also have the bike's registration numbers imprinted on them, on both sides.
