Dallas brutal death metallers Devourment come back with a blistering 4th album ripe with thick, destructive riffs, vomitous vocals and an up in production. The album plays well as a good "i wanna jump headfirst into the deep end of brutal death metal" album for relative beginners. The style can be appreciated, and a first-timer can adapt to the brutal lyrics and fierce delivery.
