Fire destroys exam hall at Roosevelt High School

Authorities at Roosevelt High School west of Johannesburg say they have contingency plans for matric exams to go ahead as planned. This after a fire last night destroyed part of the school hall where exams are being held. 167 matric learners are expected to write their Afrikaans paper today. It is still unclear what caused the fire which is believed to have started in the kitchen. No injuries have been reported. For more news, visit: sabcnews.com
