This is my first speedrun done on PC version of Outlast. I beat the previous WR by 23s by using new strats on the first chapter that saved about 7s and doing the hard Mario skip on male ward (going up the pipe). 

The run is nowhere near perfect, there are lots of smaller mistakes. Also I lost quite a lot of time on loadscreens compared to previous record, almost 7s. That's partly because I have old crappy graphics card, but it also seems loadscreens are RNGish when it comes to how long they are, since I compared to my other run and that had faster loading as well. With better luck and a perfect run sub 18 should be possible.
