Rais Uhuru kenyatta, amependekeza ushuru wa mafuta wa ongezeko la thamani,upunguzwe nusu yaani kutoka asilimia 16 hadi 8 ili kupunguza gharama ya maisha iliyopanda. Rais amesema hayo alipohutubia taifa, siku moja baada ya kukataa kutia saini mswada wa fedha wa mwaka huu ambao ulikuwa umeahirisha utozaji wa ushuru huo kwa miaka miwili.
