Ramesh was born in a high profile family in South India. His grandfather was a movie director and his family was quite affluent and also very religious. Ramesh was so pious that his family often told him he should have been born in a Brahmin family and become a Hindu priest. Ramesh's Uncle was a doctor in the UK. Through a series of circumstances his Uncle and Aunt came to know Jesus and Jesus asked them to leave their life of comfort in the UK and go back to India to share God's love. When Ramesh's family learned of the Uncle's conversion, everyone was upset and quite opposed to this. Time passed and Ramesh grew to be a teenager. Everything was going fine and then all of a sudden, Ramesh started to suffer from unbearable stomach pain. They tried all sorts of medicines, but all to no avail. Through a series of tests and operations, finally a diagnosis came...but no one told Ramesh. He was simply take to Hyderabad for treatment. During the treatment he began to lose his hair...but still, no one told him what was wrong. Finally, one day, he confronted the doctor. The doctor confirmed that Ramesh had cancer and that too with a very bad prognosis. Not know what to do or where to turn, Ramesh went to his Uncle and asked if his Jesus could heal Ramesh. Uncle replied, "If my Jesus becomes your Jesus...surely He can heal you." As his Uncle shared the love of God with Ramesh, and prayed with him, Ramesh gave his heart to Jesus and sure enough, Jesus healed him. Today Ramesh is a living testimony of God's love and healing power. The doctors had told Ramesh he would probably never have kids. But, today he is married and has a little son too!
