Naval Air Station, Fallon NV, print shop
Winter, 2002

Just a quick tour around the NAS Fallon print shop.

This was my job in the Navy for 2 years as an LI3, Lithographer 3rd class petty office. This is the Top Gun Naval Air base where they fly F-16s/18s, and other aircraft, and test weapons at the bombing range.

I worked & lived on the base for 2 years with my wife & 2 kids in base housing. Basically the job itself was like working at a Kinko's Copies, but just for the base, not for public; reproducing official government forms, making business cards or retirement invitations, but mostly chilling out & working on Photoshop to make the CD covers for my music for my hip hop group, Lyrical Theory, and for my own solo projects—which is why I took the job in the first place.

Pretty chill gig, desk job, 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri, 1.5-hour lunch from 11:30am-1:00pm, no ship, just shore duty; as requested.
