We sadly lost our family pet recently, he was an amazing dog that my son loved. My son Ralph used to tell us that Diesel was his best friend in the whole wide world. Ralph is only 2 and i felt I needed a gentle way to explain Diesel wasn't coming back without going into too much detail as I didn't want to scare him or make him upset. Therefore I come up with my own way to tell him which I think is a really nice way to tell a toddler. I thought I would share it as it might help other mums in the same situation.
