My description of what happened at immigration is all that needs to be said. One thing I want to point out, I remained calm. And by doing so I was allowed in and was able to tell the story. But the truly wonderful part of this vlog is Mr. Mr.Dickey. The hotel owner that showed me the culture, food, and history of Medan Indonesia. Not only did he go out of his way to treat me to lunch and dinner, but he taught me soooooo much about Chinese immigrant history in Indonesia. Especially Medan. I also had my first taste of grilled Stingray. Not bad. Mr.Dickey had no idea who I am beyond my name or what I do for a living. The fact he went through such effort to help me proves my love for this region is well deserved.
