IGP: Probe Papers On Musa Aman To Be Sent On Monday

The investigation papers relating to the criminal intimidation case involving former Sabah chief minister, Tan Sri Musa Aman against the state Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Juhar Mahiruddin are expected to be submitted to the deputy public prosecutor on Monday. Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun assured a transparent and fair investigation on Musa carried out in accordance to the law. Tan Sri Musa was released on police bail as there was no remand order obtained from Petaling Jaya magistrate’s court. Yesterday, he who was undergoing follow-up treatment at a private hospital in Subang Jaya, Selangor was detained by the police at 10am. Sabah Police Commissioner, Datuk Ramli Din however said the remand application order by the police under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code was rejected by the court. Tan Sri Musa, who had yet to be sworn in as Sungai Sibuga assemblyman was in the United Kingdom to seek medical treatment there returned to Malaysia on Tuesday via Singapore.
