Health Ministry: Laksa Was Contaminated With Salmonella

The Health Ministry has confirmed that salmonella bacteria was responsible for a string of laksa food poisoning cases that resulted in two fatalities.



Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said on Sunday that laboratory tests found the bacteria in the clinical samples of the patients and the laksa sample.
