Lauri Markkanen has been a pretty serious slump lately, and the All-Star break didn't help. I may have to rethink my designation of "white Kevin Durant" for him, because Durant even though he's a cupcake doesn't go through slumps like this. Not even in his rookie season, as far as I can tell, which isn't very well. Markkanen is definitely way more of a three-chucker than Durant was in his rookie season. The league is different now. Even when he's not making them, he just keeps throwing them up there. An admirable trait, and probably one that's helpful for the Bulls right now as they look to lose as many games as they possibly can. Perhaps getting brutally murdered by Jarrett Allen will light a fire in him and cause him to go off for a couple 30-point nights. You could tell he was angry when he tried to counter-poster Allen a few minutes later. It didn't work, but he got fouled, which counts as half a poster in my book. All clips property of the NBA.
