The revered rugby analyst Thando Manana, is no stranger to breaking new ground and maintaining a successful stance whilst doing so. On Visionaries’ Lounge, Ayanda is often left amazed when Thando shares life as an only child growing up in New Brighton in the Eastern Cape, his adopted coloured father who played an instrumental part in his life and the difficult decisions he’s had to make that have brought him the success he enjoys today. He also discusses the changes that should take place in the rugby fraternity so that more young talented black children can have solid rugby careers that go beyond high school level.  

Visionaries’ Lounge profiles self-made South Africans with noteworthy achievements. The achievers use their life stories to unpack the process of character development, self-belief, the importance of values and personal philosophies in building a successful life determined by their desires and dreams. The series features guests across the racial lines and from different disciplines including Dr Imtiaz Sooliman, Pastor Musa Sono and Mirriam Zwane. The talk show is hosted  by TV and radio personality Ayanda Allie-Paine.
