Second suspect in murder-for-hire plot pleads guilty

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) A second suspect has admitted his involvement in a murder-for-hire plot in Madison Township. Casey Fryman pleaded guilty to attempted conspiracy to commit aggravated murder on January 26.

Casey Fryman helped Shelly Carter find a hitman to kill her estranged husband. When the hired hitman learned Carter didn't seem to care if her children were hurt in the process, he turned them into police.

Carter pleaded guilty last month to the same charge. She and Casey Fryman are set to be sentenced on February 23. Sarah Fryman has a hearing on February 16.
