Photoshow with Music. Very early trek in the dark to a viewing point to watch mount Bromo at sunrise. It offers spectacular panoramic views. Smoke could be seen from the high mountain in the background from the Vulcano Semeru. Semeru, or Mount Semeru (Indonesian: Gunung Semeru), is an active volcano located in East Java, Indonesia. It is the highest mountain on the island of Java, 3,676 m (12,060 ft). After descent from the viewing platform a Jeep is taking us to the large sandy plain. From there you climb many steps to the top of Bromo Crater. It is a real mass migration of visitors from all over the world. What a contrast to the early and calm morning mood. However it is worth climbing up to watch the crater and enjoy some fantastic, breathtaking views and morning mists and special light further down in the plain and of course the mountain and various kinds of rock formations.
